Club Business:
As a result of the Toastmasters International Dues Increase, the Executive Committee brought a motion to: Waive the $15 club dues for October – March and revisit them in February to determine if we need to reinstate them. The motion passed unanimously.
The International Business Meeting will take place on August 19th and the club needed to vote on assigning the proxy. A motion was made to assign the proxy to Lois Margolin and allow her to vote based on her knowledge of the candidates. The motion passed unanimously.
Ashley Bailio practiced her presentation for BNI later today and was evaluated by Gregory Henry
Jeanine Kinsey provided an educational presentation about accessing Pathways and was evaluated by Rhonda Sternberg.
Andrew Bern reminded everyone that officers need to attend Officer Training at a TLI or virtual Club Officer Training and that all members are encouraged to attend a TLI. Jeanine reminded officers that if they are attending a TLI, the club can register and pay for them – just be sure to let her know.
